Terms of Service
Last updated October 1, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Tribe ("we", "us") for using the Tribe app and service. By creating an account you agree to them, to our Privacy Policy and to our Community Guidelines. If you don't agree, don't use Tribe.
Who can use Tribe
You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you. You're responsible for your account and for keeping your sign-in details secure; tell us at support@tribehq.io if you think someone else is using it.
Tribe is in testing
Tribe is an early, pre-release version shared with a small group of testers. Features may change, break or go away, and we may reset or end the test. Please don't rely on Tribe as the only place you keep photos or other things that matter to you.
Your content
You own what you post: posts, comments, messages, photos and everything else you share. You give us permission to store, copy, display and send it, only to run Tribe and show it to the people you share it with, according to your tribes' settings. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies other people already shared and backups that are overwritten in time.
Only share content you have the right to share, and only share photos of other people, especially children, with their (or their parent's) permission.
No objectionable content or abusive behaviour
We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. You may not post or send anything that breaks our Community Guidelines, including harassment, hate, threats, sexual content, content that endangers children, or anything illegal.
You can report content and people from the ⋯ menu, and block anyone. We review every report within 24 hours. We may remove content and suspend or delete the accounts of people who break these rules, without notice, and we report content that puts a child at risk to the authorities.
Tribe owners and admins
People who create or run a tribe decide its own rules and can remove content and members. They act as members of Tribe, not on our behalf, and our Community Guidelines apply in every tribe.
Things you may not do
Don't misuse Tribe: no accessing accounts or data that aren't yours, no interfering with the service or its security, no scraping, spamming or automated accounts, and no using Tribe to break the law.
Ending your account
You can deactivate or delete your account at any time in Settings → Account. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or to protect other people. What happens to your data when you delete your account is in our Privacy Policy.
Disclaimers
Tribe is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We don't promise that it will always be available, secure or free of errors.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost data, arising from your use of Tribe. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.
Apple
If you got Tribe from Apple's App Store or TestFlight, these terms are between you and us, not Apple; Apple isn't responsible for Tribe or its support, and Apple's own terms for the App Store and TestFlight also apply.
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change is meaningful, we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect; using Tribe after that means you accept the new terms.
