Community Guidelines
Last updated October 1, 2026
Tribe is for the people you actually do life with: your family, your friends, your crew. These guidelines keep it a place where everyone in a tribe feels welcome. They apply to everything you post, comment, message or upload, and to how you treat people in any tribe you're part of. Breaking them can get content removed or an account suspended; see our Terms of Service.
Be good to your people
- Treat everyone with respect. Disagree about plans, not about people. No harassment, bullying, threats or intimidation, in public or in chat.
- No hate. Nothing that attacks people for who they are: race, ethnicity, religion, disability, gender, sexual orientation, age, or any similar trait.
- Respect privacy. Don't share someone's personal information (address, phone number, private photos or messages) without their permission. Ask before posting photos where someone is the focus, especially children.
Keep it safe
- No violence or self-harm content that encourages or glorifies harm. If someone seems to be in danger, contact local emergency services.
- No sexual content, and never any sexual content involving minors. Families use Tribe; keep everything appropriate for a mixed-age group.
- Nothing illegal. No sale of drugs, weapons or other regulated goods; no scams, fraud or impersonation.
- No spam. Don't flood tribes with repetitive posts, ads or links.
Your account
- You must be at least 13 to use Tribe.
- Be yourself. Use your real identity and don't pretend to be someone else.
- Keep your account secure and don't share your sign-in.
Tribe owners and admins
Owners and admins set their tribe's rules: who can post, create events, add photos or invite. They can remove content and members that break these guidelines or the tribe's own rules. Tribe's guidelines always apply, whatever a tribe's own rules say.
If something's wrong
- Report it: open the ⋯ menu on a post, comment or profile and choose Report. The tribe's owner is told so they can act, and we review every report within 24 hours.
- Block someone: from their profile's ⋯ menu. You won't see each other's posts, comments or messages anywhere in Tribe.
- Tell us: support@tribehq.io.
What happens when rules are broken
Depending on how serious it is, we may remove content, limit features, or suspend or delete accounts. Content that puts a child at risk is removed and reported to the authorities.
